All Members,
The Virginia State Police Association provides many
services and benefits for its members. One benefit of membership,
is the Member Scholarship Program.
“We are aware that many of our members are pursuing
higher educational goals and we feel this benefit is very important
to them,” stated Kenny Bumgarner, President of the VSPA.
The
Virginia State Police Association is proud to announce the 2008 - 2009 VSPA Member Scholarship Program and to encourage our members to
apply. Scholarship
applications are due by the close of business on June 2, 2008. The
member application and statement of
financial need
forms are linked to this file.
The board allocated up to $10,000 for
Member Scholarships during the 2008 - 2009 school year and established the following guidelines:

Scholarships will be available to VSPA members only.

The awards will be made by a committee of anonymous non-members
appointed by the VSPA Executive Board.

Scholarships will be made upon submission of a fully completed
application and statement of financial need.
If you are taking classes or planning on furthering your
education, you are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.
