William F. “Bill” Etherington serves as General Counsel of the Virginia State Police Association. He is a partner in the firm of Beale, Davidson, Etherington & Morris, P.C., 701 E. Franklin St., Suite 1200, Richmond, VA 23219. The firm has a broad civil practice. Bill’s practice focuses on non-profit entities, to include church law, employment law and civil litigation. Bill graduated from Princeton University and Washington & Lee University School of Law. He served in the United States Army Infantry and was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Bronze Star, and miscellaneous campaign and Vietnamese awards. He is a member of several organizations, including the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association, Richmond Bar Association, St. Joseph’s Villa Board of Trustees, the Children’s Educational Services Board of St. Joseph’s Villa, and the National Diocesan Attorneys’ Association.
