On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, Association General Counsel, David Ostwinkle, was contacted at 11:00 p.m. regarding a Trooper involved shooting in 7^th Division. Representation was requested by an involved member and David immediately responded. During his response, David provided initial guidance to the involved member and he arrived on scene at approximately 12:30 a.m. Once on scene, he consulted with the involved Trooper and formalized the attorney-client relationship. Throughout the early morning hours and into the following day, David guided the member with advice best-suited for the situation.
